Gebexime suspension contains Cefuroxime axetil used in the treatment and prevention of bacterial infections in children.
This medication is know as a Cephalosporin antibiotic, hence will not work for viral conditions.
It is use in the treatment of Tonsillitis, middle ear infections, bacterial skin infections, inflammation of the bronchial tubes among others.
